The Leviton 1-Pole Commercial Grade Occupancy Sensor Wall Switch, utilizing Passive Infrared (PIR) detection technology, is equipped with a segmented Fresnel lens to monitor room occupancy. This specialized lens divides the field-of-view into sensor zones, enabling the sensor to detect motion as a person passes into or out of each zone, triggering the lights to turn ON. As long as there is continued movement through the sensor zones, the lights will remain illuminated.

Featuring a convenient push-button for manual on/off light switching at any time, this sensor switch operates on 120 / 277 Volts. Its 180-degree field of view provides approximately 2,100 square feet of coverage, ensuring effective room monitoring. The segmented Fresnel lens enhances sensitivity and performance, while the horizontal field of view can be adjusted between 180 degrees and 32 degrees of arc for customized coverage.

Additionally, an ambient light override function allows users to set the sensor to prevent activation when sufficient ambient light is present, conserving energy.
