The Square D X Series 10A Single Pole PIR Occupancy Sensor Light Control with back wires offers automated energy savings in a convenient package. With a 180° occupancy sensing range of up to 1,200-ft², this sensor can detect movement and turn the lights on and off accordingly.

If no movement is detected and the sensor times out, any movement within the next 30 seconds will activate the lights again. The Independent light sensor ensures that the lights will not turn on if there is already sufficient ambient light in the room. To complement the sensor, you can add a Square D X Series cover plate for a seamless, modern look on your walls.

Create a unified aesthetic in your room or home by pairing the sensor with other Square D X Series switches, dimmers, sensors, and receptacles. The passive inferred (PIR) sensor has a wide 180° field-of-view and can detect movement in an area of up to 1,200 square feet, automatically controlling the lights as you enter or leave the room.

You can set the light timing independently in intervals of 10, 20, or 30 minutes. The daylight sensor ensures that the lights will not turn on if there is already enough ambient light present in the room. The sensor is compatible with incandescent bulbs up to 500W and LED bulbs up to 150W.

A convenient push button allows for manual ON/OFF light switching at any time. The sensor supports both single-pole and three-way wiring setups, with color-coded wires at the back for easy connection to the electrical system. A neutral wire is necessary for the sensor to function properly.

Installation is quick and easy, and you can replace an existing switch or sensor in just 15 minutes. The sensor is compliant with CA Title 24 and RoHS regulations.
